Ugly little guns, but they were Great shooters and very well made. They always looked to me like they should have a silencer screwed onto the muzzle...lol I particularly like the Luft holster-very nice to see!

I have a very similar one but mine has Bakelite grips instead of wood grips. Nice piece and thanks for sharing.

Interesting that you would say "that it looks like it should have a silencer screwed onto the muzzle". In the movie Dr. NO with Sean Connery the pistol that he uses when he shoots Professor DENT is indeed a FN 1922 with a silencer, and not a PPK as stated, that he used all the time. The end cap of the FN 1922 unscrewed very easily, thus a silencer was attached to it, fake for the movies or not...BILL

I've only seen 'Dr No' once and that was a few years ago now-at the start of it, Bond was packing a .25 cal Beretta which M then forced him to hand in for a PPK replacement of much greater effect!
For some reason FN 1922s are far easier to find here in WA than the equally mass produced FN 1910s.

Nice one Bill. I have one that looks just like yours, but is Eagle/N marked instead of bearing a WaA.

What is interesting in the Bond book Dr. NO he carries a .25cal./6.35mm Beretta Model 418, but in the movie when he hands the Beretta over to M it's a full size Beretta Model 1934 in Cal 9mmK, which was a more effective Caliber than the 7.65mm/.32 auto of the PPK...BILL
