Beautiful rig, this is one of my favorites. What date is the holster?I am looking for a holster for a similar pistol and can only find '44 Nazi marked so far.I think tangent no slots were prior to '44.Am I correct?Still's book shows tangent no slot with 44 dated leather.
It is a 44 dated holster.. I do have an early light tan 1941 Browning High Power Holster but it had a P-38 in it when I got the rig.. The rig was taken from a German Major in who was a Panzer commander... Most of the GP-35 rigs that I have seen tanget or other have been in 1944 holsters, for some reason...BILL

Bill,A fellow I used to know who was a cop up in Jersey went to yard sale. He asked if there was any WW2 German stuff. The lady went up to her attic and brought him down the same gun and a holster all marked w/ eagle and swastika.
Since he was in law enforcement she sold it to him. I don't remember what he payed. He stepped into several good deals. Ron
