It is in Belgium.

Being 1945 dated (The '45 on the head), the chances are it was made before hostilities ended but it is unlikely it ever made t beyond stores or issue within the UK. I wonder how this one ended up in Belgium, do you know where it originated?

I got it from a friend together with a Bren MK III (also dated 1945)
He got it at the local arms dealer.
