These rifles are not from Jersey, but as a shooter I decided to buy them and add them to the collection. You just don't see them around to often and they shoot fairly well.

Outstanding rifles D, how exciting that you have two. I've never had the opportunity to shoot one of these. Do they have similar performace of a Garand? Thank you for showing.

I actually have 3 of them and I also have 4 Garands, but have fired them all very little to get a comparison. I would of coarse say the 43's are better just because they are German.

Don't shoot them too often, it can be a bit risky due to the quality of some steels late in the war. I was told that some french soldiers died after the war when trying to shoot those Gewehre...for sure a bolt right in the head is not the best thing to live old....
