Sorry, but the folks that think that PS is a police marking are wrong. Ask them what are the other markings like DR, AB, ... etc, etc.
Sorry but I can't reply to your question: my books don't give the ratio of wartime GECO '34 vs '35 but I also have observed that '35 predominate.

those are great pistols. and of interest, I was reading about stalingrad and found it interesting that when general Paulus surrendered to the russians, he carried this model ! his car pennant and the pistol are in a russian museum.

Great piece,Len. I've always liked the Mod 34's-they're so Solid and well built. Nothing rattley or tinny about them. As reliable as any German or Belgian made piece throughout the war. Hope you got it for a great price! It's a Dandy! William

Tell ya what,Steve-if you can pick up a Mod34 for a hundred bucks,break your fingers dialing that phone! A decent military issue Beretta should be easily worth 4 times that much. William

do you get into shooting pistols at all? just for that reason alone,because they were excellent /compact and very reliable psitols!

like wagriff said, could be 4-5 times that if its original. but just like any other WWII pistol,it will depend on,what markings, if the finish is original,bore is mint and obviously condition. if its a beater its still worth atleast $250.
