German WW2 Weiß POLIZEI holster genuine?

This white holster from the period ww2 think it but not sure of it. It is definitely the German or Austrian police for Walter P38.
Please if anyone has encountered a similar item or the collection holds or the has information about this type of holster to say on the forum. Not sure if this item is from the period WW2 or the post WW2 but it's German origin.

Hi i would say its a post war German Police holster for the P38 the gun was used for a good few years after the war by the police

Certainly looks like the black Astra 600 police holster for sale at Checkpoint Charlie's-Adyraphael-did you try putting a P38/P1 pistol in it?
