I had a m91/30 for a while. The bolt on it was a bit awkward and stiff, I imagined would be a real liability in a fight.

I allways thought they were an awkward action, just been looking on the net and it seems a fine file and abrasive paste works wonders on them,

Yes Andy. They tend to be a little stiff. Would be pretty sad to sit and fiddle with that in a trench somewhere. LOL
