Help Please--Type 22 Murata Rifle

Hello everyone,

Here's a Type 22 Murata rifle that my dad purchased at a good show in the mid 1970s. He paid $150.00 for it. He was especially excited about this find....we were in and out of the show in less than an hour because he couldn't wait to get it home. Anyway, its been in storage for the past 25 years or more, so please excuse the gun grease as I did not clean it properly before the photos. I believe that the kanji on the receiver identifies the type and location of arsenal (Tokyo?), but I'm not sure. Also, I've read where the markings on the stock may represent a school. Any help with translations would be appreciated. Thanks for your comments.
