Sorry to hear that fellas.
Sorry to hear what ?
Just bought this one in a private sale last October. It is great fun putting all shots from an enbloc into a 6.25 inch circle at 100 yards and hearing the clip eject -PING! with ammo at $.50 per round from CMP it is almost affordable to shoot.
I just hope our right to buy and own these things is not threatened. I suppose now that socialized medicine has come to our shores socialized thinking regards firearms can not be far behind.
Very nice weapon !!
They do rock !!
As far as taking our guns, we'll see. Active duty military and veterans swore to protect the country from all enemies foreign and domestic. I would consider that a domestic enemy. Not to turn this into a political discussion.
Beautiful wood !
The tiger striping was the main selling point. The hand guards are almost a burl wood. I am sure the wood is not GI. The metal is a very clean February 1943 Sprinfield production that was marked SA52 on the heel to note it went through and arsenal rebuild. The barrel is original to the rebuild and the muzzle is very tight. It is a good shooter. Cost just over $900 including tax.
