Identify: WW2 Rifle Sling?
Article about: Hello everyone! I found this rifle sling attached (incorrectly) to an ammo pouch I found at a local Salvation Army about 3 years ago. Can anyone assist with the identification of the sling?

I can't tell you exactly what it is, but it's WWII Era...

I did a little more digging on the sling. Looks like it could be a Russian PPSH/SVT 40 Canvas sling..

That's cool too, lol...

SVT-40 sling, probably made after 1942 or 1943, and as said, German ammo pouch.

That's what it is. SVT slings have pointed leather sewn ends not squared off, Ray
