    Very strange looking thing Kris! A revolver converted to single shot? It has a bit of a Webley look about it to me, and the text on the side seems to put me in mind of India for some reason. British colonial etc? Guessing a bit I'm afraid though. Good luck.

    India, Pakistan made ? Some French sites are not so qualified for such weapons. US weapons yes.

    Also what I tought! ;-)
    That 's why I am asking here.
    As to me, it does indeed looks like a Webley and the name that can be seen on looks Indian...
    Just need to wait the specialist shows up, I guess.... ;

    Possibly what is known as a Khyber Pass pistol.

    Kaniguram is in South Waziristan which is the right part of the world for this sort of thing.

    The combination of design features from different pistols and strange lettering is also indicative of hand made guns from that area.

    That was mentioned as well, and they showed some very strange manufactured weapons from that area...
    I guess no better identyfication would be possible to do on thise ..."thing"....!!??
