It was basically the site west from the intersection of E Liberty Street and Strachan Avenue in Toronto, with the railway line to the south. Easy to find on Google map with that

Yes, it was on the south east corner of Liberty St. and Frazer Ave.,
beside Lamport Stadium, near King and Dufferin St. If it wasn't
the exact building, it was in the immediate vicinity.........

That's very close, pretty much within spitting distance anyway. Just a little west of Inglis down Liberty Street

Interestingly, in the Inglis 'photo gallery' photos, there is a aerial shot of the
Massey-Harris plant. My father worked there during WWII.........

Sam, one other thing - your serial number is '4CH1038' I believe,
which makes it the 41,038th Chinese contract pistol produced.
It was made in September or October of 1944.........

Those blokes really liked their tangent sight equipped guns. The C96 was very popular in China too.

Interesting... I too have a Inglis High Power and shoulder stock. I am in need of a stock iron screw for mine.
I have misplaced it somewhere. I will post pictures of mine.

A seller on E Bay from Canada does them. None listed at present though. But search Mutual Aid Decal from time to time. They are about $8 each.
