Did you get that little shiver down your spine like i do every time i pick one up. I just wish i could afford one so i could shiver every day
That shiver explains it best! It's certainly something else to hold such a piece of history!
Glad you guys like it! Thanks for the thumbs up!

Hello,
Congrats for this nice submachine gun.
IMO there's a missing part...the washer where you screw down the barrel is missing. The sling is upside down, the stud should be at the rear (not sure the sling is original german WWII).
It's always great when collectors' dreams come true...
congrats again
Thanks

congrats,,,very nice and they are lots of fun to shoot too!!,,
Thanks guys....I'll have to have a looksee if there's a part missing. I don't know enough about these to tell. If better, closer pics are required let me know what I should shoot (pardon the pun! hahahha)
As far as the sling goes....I've seen them setup both ways....and also with some having the front swivel on the left and some on the right. I would think on the left would be better (not like mine) as the casing flying out would hit the sling no? As far as the sling being ww2 or not....I have no clue and it doesn't matter much as the sling was included for free. The previous owner did not know if orig. or not as he received it this way himself.
I've looked around and the hardware does match period slings but the leather looks different - lighter shade perhaps?
Cheers!
Rob
