Here are a few of my K98's and a 33/40, all are live firer's and get used on the range. Even here on the island of Jersey where there were thousands of these guns they just don't turn up like they used to. I hope you like them.

looks like a fine collection you have there and a good investment to boot. I notice a couple appear to have the milled butt plate and the others have the stamped cupped style. I am sure you have a copy of Backbone of the Wehrmacht which is a fairly good reference despite some criticisms. The G33/40 should command a premium. All matching 98ks out my way are easily fetching $1200 if in nice condition. Sad so may were sporterized in the 60s. Best wishes and thanks for sharing your treasures.
I'm assuming they're all matching?
Simply beautiful.
I love those beautiful k98's. I'm glad they are still used. Thanks for posting them.
Great collection -
I really like the mountaineers carbine - looking for one of those myself.
I had avoided the K98's as they are the area of the rarified specialist here in the US - some commanding thousands of dollars and others looking just like they should, but actually proving to be well manufactured fakes. However, I found a nice matching example and the bug took hold, lol - so, I now eat my words.
I feel like I would like to visit the Channel Islands.
Thanks for sharing the pic -
Pit.
Hi,
Yes they are all matching numbers. I have somewhere around a dozen of them but its getting them altogether in one place to photograph is prooving difficult.
I'd love to upgrade my Russian Capture to an all matching vet bring-back... some day...
Nothing wrong with what you have. Numbers might not all match up but these R/Cs are starting to bring some good money at Gun Shows I have noticed. I usually browze gun shops in my area searching for Mausers traded or sold for a modern firearm. Sometimes you can get lucky for a lot less money than the rip off Gun Shows. Best Wishes.
Oh, I know! Russian Capture K98s are pieces of history in their own right!
Still, I'd like a vet bring back
