Hi Chaps

Can anyone tell me if this slings is original or not? Its the only pics I have. I have read somewhere that if the brass knob piece is brass they are not original German? Anyone any thoughts?

It is postwar and Israeli.

It should have a 'Y' sort of Hebrew letter on the buckle- this is the Israeli military stamp.

Chaps, got pics of the other sling, if anyone can ID if original or not I would appreciate it as if original I will be buying one

Ben my Mauser Kar98k has the original sling as it came from my father-in-law and on the metal adjustment buckle it is marked L&F stamped. yours look good but I would not like to venture a guess if i am not sure as I don't like to seel people get ripped off. Check for that L&F stamp. Best Wishes
