    Default Late war VIS

This is a very late war, two lever VIS. The last recorded serial number started with K and this is an F so it wasn't too far from the end and you can see the quality has dropped significantly from the earlier models. They also removed the take down lever and made the de-cocking lever do double duty. If you pull the slide back and roll the de-cocking lever down it will catch on the end of the hammer and hold the slide back to that point. Fit and finish are sub-par but the function remained very good as it was a very good design. When you take one apart you can see the influence of John Brown and the 1911 internally.
