Hello. This pistol was recently donated to the German Town Veterans memorial museum in Germantown, OH, USA.
The Pistol was brought back by a Veteran in who served in the Pacific theater during WWII, And donated to the Museum along with his other items. It was likely Liberated off a Japanese Officer in the Philippians.
However, we know very little about it.
It is obviously a Spanish browning copy, But it holds 12 .32 Auto's in a single-stack magazine, Giving it an awkward appearance.
All we know is they were made in Spain during the inter-war period, (1920s most likely) And were bought by Japanese officers in some quantity. I was hoping someone could provide me with some information on When and how many were made, and who made them.
Regards, Andrew Stickley.
