Thanks guys, now time to take it to the range...it's been awhile
I think you'll rather like the results.. I hade one once, a fine rifle. G
Hey G, not a new one had it about 10 years. Just pulled it out and decided it was time to put some lead down-range...yes, a very fine rifle indeed.
What brand of ordinance do you plan to use ??
Cabella's has Springfield .30-06 150 Grain FMJ 500 rounds with a metal box (Semi-military) isssue
for under $425.00.. Pricey.. I may have a few extra ammo clips / holders if you want them..G
Make sure the ammo you use is NON-Corrosive.. As you will need to take extra care as when cleaning the barrell.. Oh, I forgot... Your a "Texan" No worries about gun tecniques there...Hahaha G.. Nice Rifle
In have to settle for "Wolf" or "Tula" or "Bear" ammo for my 7.62x39 mm. rifles SKS's Berdan primed and semi corrosive... Great for plinking and overall a a "GREAT ROUND" ...G
Hornady, Remington and Federal etc, I bought a lot of 150 grain before the "ammo madness" hit us
