Look what the cat dragged in!
A March 1944 production SA M1 Garand. I always wanted a Garand, and now I finally have one. Time to erase this from the wishlist.

You can cross it off your 'looking for' list now!
And as Detective Frank Drebin would say "Nice Pussy".

Hi Mo - nice to see you finally got one. Are you in love yet ?
I like this type of triggerguard best.
I saw one of these at a gun show last Sunday ( Feb 23rd )
in about the same condition - The guy was asking $1,800
and telling me that it was a really good price......... Lol !
Regards,
Steve.
The M1 is my favorite rifle. Very nice. Congratulations!
Nice one Mo. You cannot go wrong with a Garand.
Cheers, Ade.

Having shot M1s for years, I always wanted one.
Went to check out a Winchester, but the guy collected Winchesters and knew what he had.
As I only wanted a shooter, I wasnt about to pay collectors prices for his Winchester(s).
Very nice one!
really Nice looking Garand!!!
I think CMP still has these at a good price if anyone wants a shooter.
I have 2 CMP models and one I rebuilt I shoot. Love these rifles.
