A garand makes a nice display with the different bayonets available, grenade launcher and grenades, bandoliers, webgear, helmets, ammunition, uniforms, its good for over 30 years of American military history display if you include early 70s National guard...cmp ammo is a good buy for this rifle.

Thanks for all of the kind comments, guys! I'm still thrilled!

As far as enblocs go, I have a bunch of WWII originals I found in the HBT coveralls of an 809th Tank Destroyer Battalion vet. A very kind forum member has offered to send me his Korean War vintage extras, which I plan on using for reenacting.

Very tempting... Mine's a beater though. I have no idea how accurate she will be until I get to try it out.

If your a member of CMP you can get 200 rounds of Greek HXP M2 Ball ammo for $129 shipped. The site says it takes between 60 to 120 days. My last order took just under a month for it to be delivered.
