Article about: My son found this in a pawn shop four years ago, I found the holster sometime after. The holster is postwar but it works and I like it a lot better than those that came in with the refurbs.

The holster is postwar but it works and I like it a lot better than those that came in with the refurbs. I pulled it out of the safe and cleaned it for my daughter to shoot and thought I'd get some photos. It is all matching. Thanks for looking,John.

Nice looking pistol! I assume the SA is for Finland.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Nice pistol John! An excellent example that I would wish to have in my collection.

Yes,MAP, SA is a finish mark standing for “Suomen Armeija” meaning “Finish Army”. Quite common on Russian made arms that were captured by the Finns and pressed into Finnish service.

Very Nice. That is one type I have not shot yet. I understand that the cylinder moves forward and closes the gap between it and the barrel before it fires. I have seen the round it shoots and those are also very unique.
    So how did it shoot?

It shoots fine and my daughter does very well with it as these are far from target pistols. The rounds are part of the gas seal system, each shot the cylinder moves forward pressing the brass case into the rear of the barrel. The result is one of the best guns to suppress. There is one in a local pawn shop that has been milled back and threaded that has been tempting me. Thanks for the comments,John.
