Machine Pistole 40

Article about: It is original and it appears most of the serial numbers match, which is good. The price in todays market is "OK". Cheers, Ade.

ayf 41 is from 'Erma', B. Geipel of Erfurt which is nice as they were the original manufacturers of the MP38/40 series. As Ade says, smooth-finish metalwork above the magazine is rare, but it's a shame that the plastic part beneath the barrel is missing ( a distinctive feature of the weapon ).

As with any collectable item, it's worth what you can afford and how much you desire it. To me - and this is only my opinion - 1200 Euros is at the 'top end' of pricing and I would want a 100% correct gun for that money ; this one isn't quite there.

I think it's 'good' as in 'not a replica', but I'm really not sure that it's '1200 Euros good'. Personally, I'd hold on to my money until finding a better one.
