    Just because I'm curious, who has the "first" one?

    Interesting that they made this rifle, I guess a Oberndorf version of the G33/40 that was made during the German occupation of Czechoslovakia

    There is one at Aberdeene Proving Grounds Museum Maryland USA...

    That's quite an interesting find, Google's translation is a little bit hard to follow at times, but it more than makes up for it by being so charming! It has a sort of 'Allo 'Allo feel about it!

    I recall that french guy and his rifle - it's a recent build not the real deal.

    I was wondering if a possibility still not 100% to say it is but she is sweet looking almost to but hey.No photos of the left side of stock looking for Waffens at least on my G43 seems there on the L/side.I long for a nice Mauser and not humped and all I have now is an R/C type.Kevin
