MG42/MG3 airsoft?

Canadian law makes impossible to import them and locally they only sell modern or sci-fi like guns.

You can't import an Airsoft to Canada??? In Russia we can't import knives/daggers, even you can legally carry knives here... I have no idea why.

airsoft is legal but not replicas that look like real firearms.
i can import knives and daggers, but carrying knives in public is not allowed unless hunting.

Really? I see surplus shops sell pellet and air soft guns that look like real guns all over the place.

bb guns are mostly rifles and handguns - canadian tire and small vendors.
airsoft - i visited 6 stores in toronto and area - nobody has or can import mp40 or mp44
there are shelves full of m16s :-(

if you see mp40 airsoft (don't care if it works) - let me know
