    Hello Fellas,
I have just posted some new bayonets I bought for my collection (Whitworth and two Lancaster Bayonets)
And here are the Rifles that they fit.
I was like a kid in a sweet shop when I was offered these.
The whitworth has a beautiful Tiger Stripe Finish and is a Trial Rifle issued to The British Army.
Please excuse me if the photos are all over the place. I can't seem to list them in
    order.

The first Post will be the Whitworth. Note the Bayonet Bar is Round hence the Mortice at the rear of the Whitworth Bayonet. The barrel was not Rifled but twisted hence the Hexagonal shape. It was very accurate.

    Regards
    Jim

    Default Constabulary Carbine Circa 1840

This was another one I bought within a few weeks of the other two.
It is the Carbine version of the P42 Smoothbore Musket . this was issued to Irish Constabulary Forces.
notice the Lovell catch for the socket bayonet.
This was advertised as an Indian musket.
