    Default My 2 Garands

On this cold Thanksgiving here in the US, I was thinking of the weather our WWII ETO vets were facing. So, I grabbed both of my Garands and took them out for a few pictures. I guess I should take the M1 Carbines out, too!

Both are Springfield-made Garands. One is a September 1943 build and the other a July 1944.

    I love Garands!!!
So have they been through any rebuilds or are they 100% 9/43 and 7/44?

Both rebuilds. The '43 is mostly SA parts with a new barrel and a post Korean Conflict DAS-stamped stock. The '44 is a mixmaster - bolt and trigger group are HRA, barrel is a SA 1-55 and the stock is post WWII JLG-stamped.
