Here are my two favourite weapons,My M1 carbine made by Saginaw no idea of true date as it has an Underwood 44 barrel.
It has the later switch type safety catch,Bayonet attachment and flat top bolt.
Also my 1911 this is a Union switch and signal made model.
Mossie lovely weapons, I have a Colt 1911 & M1 myself.the M1 is my favs weapon to mess about with..just a lovely feel..thanks for showing good stuff... Cheers Terry.
Appologies Totenhead, I've re-read your post and I read it the wrong way, I was thinking you must have thought Slazengers UK was making the Wood for British Brens. You are correct, Slazengers is a British company, Slazengers UK made Enfield No.4 Wood work, Slazenger Australia only made Bren Butts for Lithgow and no one else. B.S.A made the original Butts for Enfield and they are quite scarce in good condition.
Here is one of two NO4 rifles I have,This is a 1942 Long Branch.
I like this one better than my other as it is a very early De-ac and still has its original woodwork.
These are my two NO4 rifles,One of which I have already listed,The other has been refurbished with new wood.
The other rifle is my Springfield 1903.
Boy there are some really iconic weapons there.
Brad.
