Picked this kar98 up today, it is the first weapon in my collection and deactivated, apparently made in 1944 in the mathausen concentration camp for the ss.
any other info would be much appreciated.

Hi
It also appears to be a Russian captured example.
Thanks
Cameron
Hi,
for your first rifle you have done ok, the camp rifles are still sort after thanks for showing it.
Dave.
Looks like a very nice piece that any collector would
love to own - deac or not.........!
Regards,
Steve.
Nice rifle in nice condition where did you pick it up ??
RC or not. That is still a nice looking BNZ. Does the bolt and other parts match the serial number on the receiver?
Semper Fi
Phil
I picked it up at the northern arms fair.
This rifle is mostly mismatched.
great rifle
Despite the mismatch still a very nice find being a BNZ. R/Cs in the states are starting to go for over $500 and more. BNZ is a much sought after code.
