My new Berthier 1890 Berthier Cavalry carbine

I just got this little carbine. It's all matching except for the original cleaning rod. The barrel is dated 1891. The bluing is very nice throughout and has an excellent bore. The stock shows a lot of history, you might say,, but I haven't seen a Cavalry one for sale in a long time as they are scarce because most of them were converted to M16 ones with a bayonet attachment when cavalry was reduced in WWI.
