I believe the gun parts you have are from a Chinese 63/68 rifle.

Those were assembled from the parts produced in China, like I said before. China was supplying complete gun-parts to Vietnam. AK, SKS , TT etc were assembled in the field.

We killed a hell of a lot more vietnamese soldiers than the vietnamese ever killed Americans.
The majority of the vietnamese carried chicom rifles and sks semi autos than ak47s. That myth is just Hollywood bullcrap.
    Was there and know.
We killed and wounded 3/4s of the communist soldiers during the Tet offensive in Janurary and Feburary of 68 and really kicked the vietnamese communists butts during their 2nd major offensive in May of the same year when they tried to take advantage of the news media declaring we were fought to a stand still during Tet. Which was bull$hit. There were piles of rotting vietnamese communist soldiers bodies every where.
Personally I enjoyed killing communist soldiers and was very good at it. The only so called victory of the vc was when they took Hue and murdered 10,000 civilians with heavy hammers. Our Marines went back in and kicked them out of there. There were thousands and thousands of murdered civilian bodies left in ditches after the vc were defeated in Hue.
So can you explain for me that what happened in My Lai 1968? My uncle were a ARVN soldier and I don't like the communist too! But what i know that the teachers in school told me!

    Chu, Great AK47 relic -

As someone else said it is fascinating to see modern firearms in relic condition.
Although Ak's are 60 odd years old as a design so not so strange.
I remember seeing rusted miniguns being excavated in the Vietnamese jungle.
Have you ever found anything from the French colonial period?

    Take care,

    Pit.

This is excellent and thought provoking viewing at the same time, it also gets a bit dusty in places...Nearly an hour and a half long, you may want to save it to favourites for viewing at a later time. Well worth watching.
