    Hello Scout, no my M1 was made by Springfield Armory and it's caliber is 30-06. I love it and it shoots pretty well too!

    Good looking Carcano 91 carbine-don't see the fixed folding bayonet model here much in Australia.

    No problem my friend, sure enough it was dropped many times, but when it was fired by Italian bersaglieri (panzer soldaten as Rommel called them) in North Africa or Russia fired pretty well. The longer version of course mod.91-41 (1941 modification), instead the one I own is the cavalry version used mainly by Reali Carabinieri (military police), drivers, etc.

    I have family in Calabria and visit Italy all the time. Unfortunately, I know very little about the gun laws there...
