The series mark is the symbol to the left of the serial number,the maker mark is the symbol to the right of it.There is the same maker symbol on the bayonet.

blood could stil be ingrained into the woodwork from the force of the bullets path and may have leached into its exterior just after the hit was made , looking at the pics its hard to say if it was a kill or not as its the right hand side where the hand definately held it however thats regardless the original owner deff took a round that resulted in his death or dropping of the weapon leaving it for you to grab at a juicy price all theses years later
