as i stated before but was shot down
BNZ ss contrac weapons did not have proof marks or waffenampts
    go on argue
i worked for steyr daimler puch
ss contract firearms should never have waffenampts and NEVER proof eagles ,remember this is ss fire arms (contracted)
some waffwenamps creapt through on part solection
    nut where very rare
proof eagles were never on a BNZ code fire arm (ss contract)
t to clarify never on an ss contract fire arm
    cheers ian

single rune ,usaly under the barel
    NO other marks
usualy ,depended on the ss civilians who did the selection of parts
very rere you will see a wafenampt
becouse the parts were mostley selected before that stage
    single S rune , ment the rifle<mp40 , mp44 was ecsepted
    and issued
i know your all going to complane about this BUT i worked for steyr daimler puch
and i learnd a lot about these things

please understand FROM STEYR DAIMLER PUCH ,,,,, all SS contract guns they made did NOT have waffenampts or PROOF marks
they were made on a private SS contract
    singleS rune
argue all you like these ar the facts
    SS contract !!!!
many after that were made fore the army with BNZ code
only one contract ever for the SS
ive stated this before and been shot down
but ill tell you ,, ive seen the evedence and will stand my ground on this one
remember 1,, single rune ,usaly under the breach
any od wafwenampts ,,,and especialy proof marks ARE NOT BNZ SS CONTRACT

Ask if the shop will allow you to look at the bore, Personal preference for me is the 243 code rifles, But its up to you. prewar rifles are of better quality in my mind.

    Thanks alot =)

The ones I can choose from is:
    DUV -41
    DOT-43
    DOU-44
    BCD-44

Any one more pupular then the other?

and the last one is -44 and looks like this:

If I were you I'd choose the DUV 41 but thats just me. The one with the crest looks like a portuguese M937 K98k. And I'm not sure on the caliber.

Where there any specifik manufaturers who made the sniper mod k98 or where there just randomly selected from good shooting ones?
