Hi there lithgow Thanks for the comment...
My crushed rev. is way too big to be of .32 cal. It's a S&W 1905 i think, pretty enormous and still a handfiller. I can't make out the inscription on the left side of barrel but my best guess is that it's a .38 S&W not spl. Anyway it's an eye-catching paperweight resting on my desk. Nice handguns you have....
I'll upload again my other handguns...
    Regards to all...Thanos.
Thanos, what you may have there is a SW .32 LONG. Side by side to a .32 there is a big difference.
    Here's a comparison picture ... Caliber - FirearmsID.com
If you look back at that picture I posted look to the top left. That is a SW .32L revolver.

    Have fun with your stuff,
    Rudy

    Nice, Tom!
Looking back in this thread, the design resembles the Model 10/21 Bergman Bayard posted by Bill.

Ingrid, maybe the fact that Paul Mauser and Theodore Bergman were of German nationality had a lot of influence in their designs. Of course Mr. Bergman had designed No 3, No 5, No 10/21, the Bergman Simplex...
    Fascinating designs nevertheless...
