love the 1911 steve are the grips origional because they look amazing
No, they are replacements. The ones that came with it were the brown plastic
1911-A1 type, and these were very worn and scratched. I gave the newer
ones a rub with linseed oil, which brings out the grain.
This pistol had been altered somewhat for target/competitive shooting.
I had to replace the rear sight and file down the non-original ramp
front sight to a more 'traditional' profile.
It also has a later .45 Cal. barrel.
