repro scope

hi guys,

i was thinking about buying a repro scope to go on my M44 Nagant or my SVT 40 , does anyone know where they are available as i dont want to fork out mega £££ for an original

it would be smarter to get a original try ebay for fakes
couple of originals that won't break the bank (unlike german ones)

they look nice but i couldnt afford that much for a scope really , i would rather buy another weapon with the money lol

i will look on ebay today, are there many other shops?

does your svt have a mount already attached

no it doesnt

you may have a tad problem then because usually the mounts are the most expensive (even for a repro mount) https://www.buymilsurp.com/index.php...&keyword=svt40 it would be cheaper to buy the top link in post 2 as it has mount and scope and is original

Another thing you will have to consider is, does your SVT40 have the 2 grooves in either side of the reciever that allow the mount to be fitted?

M1944 Mosin-Nagants were never fitted with scopes anyway.

My advice is don't mess with any rifle unless it was once a period sniper rifle.

"accumounts" are good to deal with as comrades from my unit have dealt with them no problem. The items are good too.

I believe that theres an SVT40 Sniper on Ryton Arms, just incase your SVT40 doesnt have the rails/grooves for the scope mount.
