It has arrived today, its 1945 dated.
Some photos for your viewing pleasure.
The barrel is drilled 6 times and bullet chamber welded but it still dry fires and magazine is removable.

    Hi

A great acquisition to any collection and in fact the first deactivated gun I ever brought.

Personally I would give the whole gun a wipe down to get rid of the grease. It improves the look of the gun dramatically. (I had to do the same when I brought mine).

Why did'nt you like the PPSh initially, they are gorgeous guns!?

A beautiful brute of a gun (if such a thing is possible). An iconic and important bit of firearms history.

    Cheers

Excellent gun mate Who wouldnt want to have one of these.

I've been trying to get one myself, but its alot of trouble in scandinavian countries just to get a license for it even when its deactivated.

    Cheers!

Diesel fuel, give it a good soak, then wipe it off.

Can you get WD40 where you are, will smell alot nicer in the house than diesel !!!

Balistol spray=won't damage the finish and has a pine smell-made from pine oil.
