Spanish Astra 400 delivered to the German Army

This might be my favorite pistol. Procured and delivered to the Germans in 1941.Identified by serial #'s 92851-98850, my example is planted in the middle 95430. Chambered for 9mm Largo( 9mm Bergman-Bayard).This large auto pistol is very well made.Why the Wehrmacht would procure a pistol in a totally non-standard caliber is a mystery to me, but creates an interesting conversation.
