Any markings/stamps on the bolt or bipod head?

Bolt: *In Italics* 'DA' then underneath '09'
Bipod: 'Kur' or 'Kun' and it's dated '44 with a WaA!

That'll be the proof house deact stamp, proofed as 'DA' (deactivated) in '09' (2009).

I feel sorry for you guys in the UK and elsewhere that can not have functional firearms. But I guess it beats not having any at all???
I have a fully functional MG 42, have had it since the early 1960s. I also have a tripod/scope for it.
Here is a photo of it along with my BAR u. Bren Gun - All are shooters.
