Gotta be cool for a freebie out of the old school cuboard, better than a catapult or slingshot!

Whatever its just an opinion.
Cheers Danny, and glad you like it! I'm really curious to know if it was potentially used in this configuration now, and how viable that is. I've seen rifles with replaced stocks, but only using similar stocks for the same kind of gun.
Mat
Great find, Mat! Very interesting rifle. All I ever brought home from school was homework!
Luke
Luke, you're a Mauser man! Do you know exactly what kind of stock this is? K98?
Mat
Indeed a K98 stock.
Cheers, Ade.

Ade is correct. It is a K98 stock. Any markings on the stock?
Luke
It has '799' on the stock disk, I think... it's difficult to read, but I think it's that. I can try confirm that tomorrow Luke, if that helps ID it at all. Other than that, the stock seems to be free from any markings except for what looks like a rectangle?
Mat
Mat: I'll look through my books and see if I can find anything.
Luke
Thanks!
Mat
