Ah yes, the American 180. I have found it to be a weapon for all seasons. Some time I want to shoot a rifle.
Other times I want to shoot a carbine.
And then there are those times I want to shoot a sub-machine gun.
Every so often, silence is the name of the game.
Here is my entire rig.
I almost forgot, here is a 275 round Lexan drum magazine, courtesy of E&L Manufacturing.
I have found an AM 180 to be a fun, cheap to shoot, but finicky firearm. When they run, they run extremely well. But when they don't run, they will drive you crazy trying to determine where the problem is.
The only really downside is loading the drum magazines. Without an E&L Manufacturing loading tray and stand you can expect to spend 10+ minutes loading a single 275 round drum magazine. Here is the E&L loading tray and stand.
I went to an FA shoot we had here. One guy had 1919 in .22(Very Cool) and another guy had the 180(Bada$$). The 180 was a buzzing and just ate a pumpkin to bits.
Very impressive for a .22
Thank Larry for the Vid
