Nagants were a common type of design with a number of European armies in the late 19th century despite being a pretty old fashioned type, even at the time. The Russians/Soviets made their M1895 model for 50 years and the other, less numerous weapons stayed in service with their respective armies until WW2 even after the adoption of later designs (in the Norwegian case their Colt M1911-M1912 variant).

As stated earlier-you have a Swiss service revolver,not Swedish.However,in the fifties "Svenska metallverken) did alter a few Husqvarna Swedish Nagants to chamber 32 ACP.I have some copys from the drawings somewhere.Only change was the cylinder.
