If all goes well, I will be at Paschendeale (?) Nov 10th for the 100th Anny.
I will be over that way a week or 2 before as well, I have friends in the NL that are taking me and a friend relic hunting and have been told everything we find ( including those that are taking us) will be given to me.

    Great Guys!!!

Take Care and I hope this info has helped.

WOW!! One guy has the rifle and one has the box!!!!!! Sounds like somebody needs to sell somebody something.

The rifle looks a little like a P14. Is that what it was a training aid for?

Oddly enough, the main use for the P14 was for training/rear echelon in both World Wars (although it was also the primary sniper rifle between the wars in small numbers)-I have seen one of the trainers in its box here in WA so they are about, but like a lot of training stuff it gets tossed out when no longer needed-actual arms have much more of a secondary market!
