Article about: Hello folks. This was the second deact I ever bought, and one of only two pistols that I own. World Wide Arms, a popular deact seller here in the UK, were selling them in bulk. The idea was

    Or was it early war capture by the Germans, then transferred to their Italian allies. Be worth investigating further.

    NO, it was imported and test proofed in Italy on 2002.

    I long suspected this was the case. I have several deacts with British proof stamps that are of a similar nature. You see it on a lot of German pistols from the era, most notably the 'B.N.P' nitro proof markings.
