Hi all currently trying to assemble a relic mp40, I only have this much so far but I still need the front barell and bakelite sidegrips. I can get the sidegrips on ebay, even repro ones if I cant find original ones and theres a site that sells mp40 front barrels cheap but I dunno if the front of my mp40 what parts I will need to make it screw in? anyone familiar with mp40s? its just a fun project id like to do.

A relic with repro parts on it is neither one nor the other - would you REALLY be happy with that?
I would hang out for the RELIC parts you need - they regularly turn up on Ebay out of the Baltic countries.

    Hi,
Nice relic MP40 you have, it would look a bit nuts with a nice clean barrel ect on it they just wont match up, as said i would look around for the relic parts to. I think we would all like to see it when you finish.
