Twin anti aircraft mounted MG.34's

[JERSEY 34]

This is one of my favourite pieces to go with my MG.34's. It's a Zwillingssockel 36, which is original to the Island of Jersey. It was mounted on the roof of a Martello Tower (built to keep an eye out for the invading French years before ww.2) The tower is at Greve de Lecq in St.Ouen. There were quite a number of these mounts around the Island but only 4 remain with this one being the only one with its original position being known.
I just love the 34, especially with all the accessories that there is too go with it, its almost a collection in itself.

How have the triggers been setup to fire ? Is there a bar with a return spring mounted in the center to pull the triggers at the same time .
