Aye but its still good to have on insted of it beeing scrapped or something i know its a deact and i know its a shame that its a deact and it will never fire or chamber a round again but i have saved it from historys junk yard

Im a part-time deact collector (when wife and finances permit) mosins are a fave of mine as theyre not stupidly expensive, have you seen this site...Appologies if youve already come accross it.

Great lookin mosin.I have had stupid comments about the deact situation but as long as you enjoy collecting then what the hell. Im also looking to get an fac to shoot a 98k but im only just starting out so a long way to go.Signed up for the Bisley open day in may though should be good.

As I would say- I have only deactivated weapons. I do not want to have the live weapon in my home, for some reasons. That is a good Mosin rifle you have, I personally owe one from 1937 year.

i have a 1942 mosin nagant ... took it to the range this past sunday .... great shooting rifle .... very accurate ... a lot of fun to shoot ... i understand about your laws .. its better to own a deact than nothing ... and yes its better than scrapping them
