vz24 at flea market

just bought a vz24 and a k98 at a flea market today and It doesnt have the lion crest on it. its just blank and on the side of the reciever it says CESKOSLOVENSKA ZBROJOVKA brno or whatever it says. No front site protector the front looks just like a k98. it has the side swival. The serial number is DR 1374 what is interesting is that on the floor plate there is no other marking but the serial number but it looks electrolized however you spell it. Looks like the same lettering what the russians did with the rc k98s SOME HELP ME WITH IT


paid 50 bucks for it bore is good so is the stock.


The k98 the guy told me his dad brought it back and bin sitting. I thought it was true becuase I remember someone told me long ago sometimes the g.i's would but the bayonet ring backwards when they put it back together. This one was the same way I just turned it around. It all matches. I paid a lot for it. 150 bucks

150 dollars seems like a great price for both. I'm not sure if it is me, but something seems like it is missing from the K98.

The Vz24 to me looks more like a Romanian (?) contract rifle, with a renumbered bolt from another rifle. FP
