Recent find a Walther single barrel flair gun dated 1940 with holster and cleaning rod - was wondering what the eagle holding what looks like a heart stands for??

Hi Horst; the reverse heart under the eagle indicates a Walther made flare pistol. It was the the maker's code used on LP's by that brand.
