    Need to see close up photos of any markings.

    The grips definitely look post war P1 rather than wartime P38.

    The stippled grips were used on very early production P38s/commercial models as well as post war P1s but it's most likely a P1 (although military models of these are marked as 'P38'). See attached photo-can be enlarged.
